Delivery & Returns

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days of receiving them. Orders received after 11:30am on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or on bank holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Items will be posted to the address received during your checkout process.  

We’ve had to make the regrettable decision to suspend all shipments outside the UK because of the customs issues which our valued customers have been encountering for some time. 

Delivery Charges

Roasted coffee shipping charges:

All standard orders received Monday to Friday will be processed within 1-2 days and delivered by Royal Mail within 5 working days. Orders received over the weekend will be processed on the next working day.  For orders over £19.99 have free delivery.

All expedited orders are sent via courier. Orders received before 11:30am on a weekday will be processed/dispatched the same day and received the next business day at a rate of £5.95, which will be added at checkout. Orders received over the weekend will be processed on the next working business day. We work with established national couriers who guarantee next business day deliveries. In the event you parcel does not arrive next business day we will refund the £5.95.

Free delivery is to UK only for orders over £19.99 orders received Monday to Friday will be processed within 1-2 days and delivered by Royal Mail within 5 working days. Orders received over the weekend will be processed the next working day and sent via Royal Mail. To qualify for this you must have spent £30 after any discount is applied.

Coffee Subscriptions are sent by Royal Mail and will be received within 5 working days.

Coffee Machines and Grinders: 
Postage and packaging will be quoted at time of order and may not qualify for free delivery. 

Damaged or Incorrect orders

If for any reason your order is incorrect or damaged then Spiller & Tait offers a replace or refund policy, please contact us to arrange return of the goods. 

Change of mind

If you have changed your mind and the items are unsuitable then please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the goods to arrange a refund.  You will incur the carriage charge for return of the goods.  Please note that refunds are subject to the provided goods being in perfect, unused and complete in their unopened original packaging.  Please allow 14 working days for this process.  

All shipping back to Spiller & Tait is to be paid for by the customer.  We recommend that your carrier gives you a ‘proof of delivery’ as Spiller & Tait cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.
